Director of People Operations

We’re looking for a passionate leader with strong communication skills and Human Resources expertise to support our growing team.

What you’ll do

  • Define the company culture for our rapidly growing startup
  • Develop our core HR processes and programs (e.g., performance management and employee engagement surveys), and implement relevant local HR processes and policies
  • Coach the leadership team through performance management and employee relations cases while keeping our company values top of mind
  • Create documentation and playbooks for HR strategy
  • Drive initiatives to maintain and grow a happy team
  • Develop a seamless onboarding and offboarding experience for employees that reflects the company culture
  • Support hiring managers in identifying interview evaluation criteria and competencies to ensure interviews are conducted efficiently
  • Keep the team informed about search statuses and hiring strategy performance
  • Negotiate offer packages and facilitate new hire process
  • Conduct salary range research to develop our compensation strategy

Your background

  • Preferably 6+ years of HR experience, with a deep understanding and practical application of Dutch labor law
  • Prior experience recruiting for technical roles, ideally in-house at a tech company
  • Stellar interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with all levels of the organization while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and integrity
  • Creative and enterprising approach to acquiring the best talent
  • Fluent in both English and Dutch, written and spoken
