About Plywood
Plywood bridges art and commerce. A gallery-inspired Framer template for artists, street artists, illustrators and photographers, with a real Shopify store behind it via Frameship. Every layout puts the work first while keeping the buying experience fast and secure.
Pages: Home, About, Canvas Works, Street Works, Shop, Contact and 404, plus CMS-driven artwork, product and legal templates. Sections include featured work, press and recognition cards, events and exhibitions, an image gallery with lightbox, an offer form for commission enquiries, newsletter, and a slide-out cart layer site-wide.
5 CMS collections
Canvas Works: year, availability status, five images, dimensions, materials used, and a three-part story covering the idea behind the piece, execution and process, and a personal reflection
Street Works: the same structure for murals and public pieces, with year, five images, dimensions and materials
Events and Exhibitions: date and time, location, period and details link
Shop: synced live from Shopify via Frameship. Three images, description, price and compare-at price, vendor, SKU, barcode, product type, category, SEO fields and variant options with image mapping
Legal: title and formatted content
Originals and street pieces stay separate from merchandise, so the portfolio reads as a body of work rather than a catalogue.
Who it's for
Artists and illustrators selling originals and prints, street artists documenting murals, galleries presenting a roster, and creative brands who want an exhibition space that converts visitors into collectors.
Why Plywood?
Framer handles the front end; Shopify handles products, cart, checkout, orders and inventory. Uppercase Kumbh Sans, a custom cursor, background line detail, sticky scrolling, and A11y and SEO handled.
