Empowering Designers with Framer

The Paste team sought a tool that aligned with their fast-paced workflow and creative vision. Framer’s familiar interface made the transition seamless for their design team, who were already comfortable with graphic tools. With rich community support and clear tutorials, they quickly adapted to the platform, gaining full control over their website without the need for constant engineering support.

From Custom Code to No-Code Agility

Initially, Paste relied on a custom-built website using Next.js, React, GSAP, and Sanity for content management. While powerful, this setup required dedicated developer resources to implement updates. As their marketing needs expanded, the team needed a more flexible and efficient solution. After testing Framer with a promotional page for their Paste 4.0 launch, they saw its potential and made the strategic decision to transition their entire website.

Bringing Their Vision to Life

The migration to Framer was approached in stages. First, they redesigned the homepage, ensuring it reflected Paste’s core concepts with engaging interactive animations. Once the static pages were optimized, they integrated dynamic content for their Blog and Help Center using Framer CMS, finding it more intuitive and flexible than expected. Finally, they created custom components and integrated third-party services, discovering that Framer’s extensibility—powered by React—offered the precision they needed to fine-tune user experiences.
